PRIN 2022 research project Italian Borderscapes After 2020: Mapping, unfolding, and re-framing border territories in response to the Covid-19 pandemic

The exhibition-seminar is designed as a platform for reflection and dissemination of the PRIN 2022 research project "Italian Borderscapes After 2020. Mapping, unfolding, and re-framing border territories in response to the Covid-19 pandemic".

The initiative aims to synthesize research results, connect them with local stakeholders, and promote their integration into teaching activities and across border territories.

The event

The event presents and discusses the final research results of the project (displayed in the form of a small exhibition) featuring contributions by the "Italian Borderscapes After 2020" team, in dialogue with the DASTU and DAStU-Polimi’s CRAFT program, the Competence Center on Anti-Fragile Territories.

It experiments with proactive engagement methods grounded in project outcomes, aiming to build a community of stakeholders interested in collaboration and thereby expand the research and action potential.

The exhibition

The exhibition is organized into a set of tables dedicated to the project’s dissemination, and the three case studies (Italy-Austria, Italy-France, Italy-Slovenia), displaying research materials and formats: cartographies, photographs, project reports, dissemination products, and research-by-design pedagogical activities.
